Legend Airlines (Romania), has recently completed two charter flights for the Irish Defence Forces. The flights took place using YR-LRE Airbus A340-313E on November 13-14 and November 24-25, between Dublin and Beirut, Lebanon. Between flights, the aircraft was stationed in Shannon Airport 15-23 November.

This particular airframe holds a unique place in aviation history: YR-LRE, MSN 938, is the last commercial Airbus A340-313E ever built, a model that first entered service over 16 years ago. Originally delivered to Finnair as OH-LQE, with a seating capacity of 324 economy class seats, the aircraft is based in Fujairah, UAE.

Legend Airlines provides a range of customized charter services, from charter series under ACMI terms and ad-hoc full-charter flights also special charter operations on demand for dedicated events (such as sports, music, corporate, etc).
