Emerald Airlines, the exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional services, has taken delivery of its 20th ATR72-600 turboprop aircraft, marking the completion of its planned fleet growth for 2025.
The latest addition, registered EI-HPJ, arrived in Dublin on 6 June from Toulouse-Francazal, according to fleet tracking website Planespotters.net. The aircraft, an ATR72-212A (600) with manufacturer serial number (msn) 1181, was sourced from Dublin-based lessor ACIA Aero Capital. Prior to joining Emerald’s fleet, it was registered as M-CTRE.
Originally delivered new to Garuda Indonesia in October 2015 as PK-GAH under lease from Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC), the aircraft was returned to its lessor in April 2024. The aircraft was subsequently acquired by ACIA Aero Capital.
Flightradar24 data shows the aircraft entered commercial service on 11 June, operating as EIN3350/3351 between Dublin and Newcastle.
